AGM 2023
The provisional date for the next AGM for 1 st Pulborough and Bury Scout Group is set
for Friday 23rd June 2023 in Stopham. You can join us for a fun night of activities as
Pulborough Beavers and Pulborough Cubs will also be meeting there for their weekly
session.
We plan to have archery, air rifles, wide games, backwoods cooking, and some
water-based activities.
AGM 2022
The 2022 AGM for 1st Pulborough and West Chiltington Scout Group was held on Friday 7th October for the last time at Terra Amarta Farm in West Chiltington. Because the weather the previous week was poor, we moved the evening back a week but the night was darker and again we had some rain. It didn’t stop us enjoying archery, air rifles, go karts, backwoods
cooking and fire lighting though. The night was made all the more special with the visit of
District President Dave Grimwood who presented Skip with his Wood Badge, as well as Chief Scout Bronze and Silver Awards to Beavers and Cubs.
AGM 2021
On Friday 24 September 2021, our Scout Group met at Terra Amata Farm, Broadford Bridge Road, West Chiltington, All four sections attended, as did parents and siblings of the scouts, bringing the number to about 80 – a record in recent years. On the evening we offered fire lighting, backwoods cooking, archery, wide games in the dark and air rifle shooting to all that came. The AGM element lasted approximately thirty minutes, and we heard about the success of the Group over the last year as it has built itself new foundations in a new home.
