Bury Cub Scouts are young people (boys and girls) aged between 8 and 10 ½. They are the second section of the Scout Group following on from Beavers, and preceding Scouts. This section is from Bury in West Sussex, and is based at Bury C of E Primary School, meeting on a Thursday evening (18:30 to 20:00).
Bury Cubs has been running for well over a decade, and has always provided its members with a diverse and interesting programme, enabling it to attract a range of young people from a wide area.
Over the last year, the pack have been cooking in the back woods, camping, sailing the Scout yacht Supeta, visiting Parham Gliders, counting toads, den building, firing water rockets and having fun on many more evenings.
